MISSION STATEMENT

Friends of Marion County Veterans Park, Inc. is a non-profit, volunteer-staffed foundation dedicated to creating and nurturing a majestic setting honoring Veterans and their families for their respective services and sacrifices made on behalf of the United States of America while fostering an educational venue to stimulate current and future generations of Marion County and beyond.

VISION STATEMENT

• Maximize utilization of our all-volunteer staff by promoting awareness of the Ocala-Marion County Veterans Memorial Park/Exhibit & Education Center via our communications platform, strategically marketed events, student tours and veteran-related activities.

• To plan for and assist in the acquisition of new displays honoring post-Vietnam era Veterans.

• To preserve the integrity of current archives while welcoming new artifacts.

• To actively seek out and secure monetary donations to fund future projects.
