WHAT WE OFFER
Beginning January 2023, we'll begin sending out weekly emails on Thursday afternoons to our Distribution/Mailing List. The emails will include any new events and activities scheduled since the previous Thursday's email. Each event listing will include a map/directions link, point of contact info, any PDFs, etc. The information will also be posted/linked on our Events Calendar, which can be explored HERE. Other items of interest in the email will include our monthly Newsletter, a featured column titled, "Veteran (or Patriot) in the Spotlight," write ups recognizing area Veteran Organizations and JROTC components within Marion County Public Schools, short articles on military history and more.
PRIVACY
We respect your privacy and protect it as we would our own. Accordingly, all emails are sent BCC (blind copy), so no personal information is disclosed. Your information is NEVER, EVER shared or sold to third parties. We'll never send "chain" emails or jokes. Our mission here is simple: to share what's going on in and around the Friends of Marion County Veterans Park Foundation with everyone desiring to stay informed.
HOW TO ENROLL
Send an email to [email protected] with the word "ADD" in the subject line. Please include (at least) your first name in the body of the email. You'll begin receiving our weekly emails right away.
HOW TO DISENROLL
Send an email to [email protected] with the word "DELETE" in the subject line. We'll be sad to see you go but, as per your desires, you'll be removed from our database within 24 hours.
PLEASE SHARE OUR INFO WITH OTHERS
We'd be grateful if you would share our website link with your family, friends and co-workers alike. If you're associated with a public school/private school/homeschooling network, or a military/veteran organization, we'd sure appreciate you linking us with them (and vice-versa) as well.
In keeping with our Mission and Vision Statements, our mandate is to create and nurture a majestic setting honoring Veterans and their families for their respective services and sacrifices made on behalf of the United States of America while fostering an educational venue to stimulate current and future generations of Marion County and beyond.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
